Ipod has become famous among all age groups. Apple iPod has become the major need for all the funky and young kids. Guys who are in music profession will surely owe one of the different iPod or sometimes more than one.

The demand for iPod is increasing every day. Apple iPod has today become synonymous with the term MP3 player. Apple could analyze the lack of digital music player and launched a hard drive based Mp3 player in late 2001. This model was titled as Ipod which had classy and striking looks. The iPod earphones has its own identification and is always been blamed for majority of street robberies.

Even a normal iPod can store multiple music. It was an achievement from the beginning, but the truth that it was only Mac compatible held back sales slightly, although Apple did in fact see an augment in sales of Apple Macs due to populace wanting to be able to make use of the IPods.

In 2003, the sales boosted even high with the launch of new version of IPod i.e. with iTunes software, that was well-suited on both Macs and Windows PCs. Apple IPod enjoys 90% of the market were as normal MP3 player just shares 70% market as whole.

By launching several versions of MP3 players meeting all the technological advancements Apple has made themselves shine in the world. The latest models display photos and videos as well. Some also give the option to store official hard copy of the documents. iPod mini, iPod nano and iPod shuffle are the three most needed model among individuals. All the three meet the same purpose.

iPod Mini - Apple’s first iPod by-product was the iPod mini. This product was quite smaller but almost similar to the original one. This iPod was obtainable in many colors and was planned to target unusual market.

iPod Nano: in year 2005 apple made an decision to discontinue sales of IPod mini. This iPod mini was replaced by iPod nano. They are smaller than the mini players and feature colored screens. Apple has come under some censure though for the screens on the nano as many customers have criticized that they damage too easily.

iPod shuffle: The introduction of first flash drive based iPod began with iPod shuffle. The capacity of these iPod is very limited around 512 MB or 1 GB is available in the market. It doesn’t have any display screen. One can easily listen song through it in a random order or can set a playlist in iTunes.

The recently launched cars are intended with wharfing ports to make integrating iPods to the in car system easier. Trendy clothes are designed with a special pocket to hold the iPod. Well, other iPod with wonderful facilities are still available in the market but of-course not as fashionable as apple.

Seven Tips To Avoid iPod Repair

Monday
Feb 9,2009
ipod
When spending a lot of money on pleasure components like an iPod, life gets a huge kink in it when iPod breaks down. Everyone knows the convenience of the iPod makes listening to music easy when doing practically anything. Instead of going out and buying a new iPod, consider trying some other ideas. Here are some tips that may put the dance back in your step, letting you avoid repairing your iPod by a professional iPod repairman.

First, you should obviously use a hard protective case to avoid scratching the screen of your iPod. The hard cases are better because if you drop your iPod while in a hard case in water, your iPod is usually protected in up to three feet. Plus, if you drop your iPod, a hard case help protect your device from sustaining damage to its internal devices, which are necessary for proper function, and external cosmetic damage to your iPod.

Second, Dont use your pockets, backpacks, or a purse to carry your iPod tunes. LDC screens are pliable under pressure, which is easily created if you bend down, sit down, sit on your backpack or purse or if you fall down. This will put pressure on your iPod, which can bend or crack your LCD screen. You might also think of your screen when left in your car such as extreme heat or cold.

Next, you should always avoid pulling, wrapping, or causing any other type of tension to the cord attached to your headphones. This can break your headphone sockets. Avoid letting your wires get tangled up when you are not using your iPod. You would not want a short in your headphone wires. It would also be totally inconvenient having to untangle your headphones each time you go to use them. Another tip is if your iPod does not boot up as it usually does, you might try charging it. Sometimes, when you are to low on juice your iPod cant boot up.

Also, when you buy your iPod, you could also purchase an extra battery and battery replacement kit. This is ideal for when your battery dies. You dont have to go anywhere to replace it. The average iPod battery takes about three hours to fully charge. What if your iPod would not shut down? You have checked that the hold switch is turned off, and you know your battery is fully charged, and then you need to reset your iPod, deplete your battery all the way, and then update your iPod.

Another tip is that you should also check for regular updates for your iPod, just like your home computer. You want it to continue to work properly. If the LDC screen on the front of your iPod shows a not so happy face, this means that you should check that the requirements for your iPod match your computer. If so, try to restore your iPod by putting it in disc mode and then restore. Remember restoring your iPod is not the same as updating. Make sure you back up your music files before you restore. To update plug your iPod into your computer and down load the newest version of iPod updater. You could try plugging your iPod into a different fire wire or USB port connecting to your computer. Then restart your computer, and reinstall your iPod or iTunes software.

To check your iPods hard drive for errors, run the scan disk feature. If the face with an upside down smile comes up then the problem cant be fixed at home.

Last, if you are constantly on the go, running, skating, dancing, and your iPod is always being jarred around, you might have a problem. Your iPods internal protection function will come on, which will freeze your iPod up. Fix your frozen iPod, hold the select and the menu button at the same time. If you have an older iPod, hold the play button down for a few moments, which should repair your iPod issue.

These are only a few basic ways to avoid iPod repairs. For a more in-depth look into solutions, most companies have websites, which corresponds with the brand of iPod you own. If you iPod is still under warranty and you are still having problems, return your iPod to the manufacture that can exchange it for a new one.

The Very Popular Ipod Nano

Sunday
Feb 8,2009
ipod
The most popular Apple product right now is the iPod Nano. The iPod Nano is much smaller than the standard iPod, but has almost all of the same capabilities. There are two generations of the iPod Nano. Most people prefer the iPod Nano 2nd gen because the casing is more durable and less prone to scratching. The first iPod Nano was quite popular, except that it was so easy to get scratched. So Apple went back to the designing board and developed the new casing. The iPod Nano was released with little notice. The designing only took 9 months before being introduced into the Apple iPod family.

The iPod Nano is much smaller than the rest of the iPod family, save for the iPod shuffle. The screen on the iPod Nano is tiny, but it is color and has a surprisingly high resolution. Because the screen is so clear, it is said to be able to have more characters in one line than the iPod Mini. The screen is no bigger than a postage stamp, but is still able to portray the album art of the current song that is playing.

The iPod Nano is much like the iPod shuffle, not only in size, but in memory as well. The iPod Nano has flash-based memory, which means that it must be charged from the computer on a USB port. The flash memory is handy for those that like to go running with their iPod. The flash drive also provides a higher quality in the sound quality.

Despite having the same iPod ear buds, the sound quality of the iPod Nano matches that of the standard iPod. The memory of the iPod Nano allows it to store almost a thousand songs for the smaller GB’s and over a thousand songs for the larger memory iPod Nano models. This is also assuming that the basic size music file is being downloaded.

The iPod Nano is available in different colors now. Someone can get a 2GB iPod Nano in white, black or silver. The 4 GB iPod Nano models are available in blue, green, and magenta, as well as the silver color too. With the iPod Nano 2nd gen there was the release of the Red Special iPod Nano, which is available only in the 8GB size. The red iPod Nano is a special that donated money to Africa for the study of AIDs. The price was not higher. In fact, it was reasonably priced for the large GB size that it has.

The iPod Nano is the most recent and popular iPod model available from Apple. There are many benefits to the iPod Nano. More people are finding it more convenient to walk around with the iPod Nano in their pocket. The screen is color, the memory is decent, and they are surprisingly sturdy. The iPod Nano is a popular buy, in many different colors.

Apple Ipod Classic

Thursday

ipod
a saying that nothing is permanent in this world than change. This saying does not definitely apply to Apple iPod Classic. In recent years, we have seen the rapid change and development in technology. Revolution and overhauling of gadgets and devices are everywhere. Some machines are made more stylish while some are increased in their memory capacities. Despite the technological revolution, there is one machine that remains a standout. Apple iPod Classic is able to withstand the challenge of time.

Since its inception in 2001, the Apple iPod Classic has gained numerous supporters. Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey gave all her audience members an Apple iPod Classic. Naturally, they all went gaga over the latest craze for music lovers. Apple iPod Classic has been considered as the number one portable music player in the world. Apple has come up with newer generations of the Apple iPod Classic that has reached the sixth generation as of September 2008. Apple has also produced other models in the iPod line including the smallest iPod shuffle, the medium-sized iPod nano, and the very stylish iPod Touch. The Apple iPod Classic also obviously inspired the very popular iPhone and iPhone 3G.

The Apple iPod Classic is already considered a staple on workout sessions, out of town trips, and even during house parties. Users can hook up your iPod to loud speakers. Many manufacturers have come up with portable music players that can rival the quality of the iPod line. Pirates have also produced knockoffs of the Apple iPod Classic and other iPod products. But so far, none of them has succeeded to topple iPod as the best portable music player in the world.

So where does the Apple iPod classic get its appeal? First is from its unique and stylish design. Before the Apple iPod classic came out, every music player looked the same. The Apple iPod Classic is a breath of fresh air compared to other music players because the product has a wide screen and an exceptional navigation wheel. It also comes in cool colors like white, black, apple green, pink and cobalt blue. The latest generation of the Apple iPod Classic, however, features only two colors - silver and black. Second is the memory capacity of the Apple iPod classic. The sixth generation of Apple iPod Classic takes pride in its 160 GB capacity. This will definitely guarantee that you will not have boring days as you listen to your favorite songs. The iPod Classic is not just a portable music player. It also allows you to view videos, store and share pictures and play games. The Apple iPod Classic certainly has got all your entertainment needs covered.

In a world where everything new is almost always considered better, the Apple iPod Classic has succeeded in proving that no one can go wrong with a classic.

ipod
It includes four parts:

Part one: How to download TV show for free.

Part two: How to put TV show on iPod.

Part three: Where to download free movie for iPod.

Part four: Play iPod on TV without Apple TV.

Part one: How to download TV show for free.

For iPod users, you can buy one episode at a time or a whole season from the iTunes Store

and you can watch on your iPod, computer, or widescreen TV using Apple TV, but it cost

$1.99. If you feel it’s trouble to download TV show from iTunes, you can follow this guide to

download TV show for free.

Here’s a quick video tutorial on how to download TV shows for free:

http://www.cucirca.com/2007/12/28/how-to-download-tv-shows/.

Part two: How to put TV show on iPod.

After download TV show on your PC, please take your time to put TV shows to iPod, coz iPod

can only play MP4 and H.264 video, but many TV show play as AVI format, even some

shows plays with BETA and World Cup play as HDTV, so you need some thirty part

software to help you rip DVD and convert video to MP4 video, and then sync it to iPod via

iTunes. I highly recommend the Daniusoft DVD to iPod Suite, it can easily rip CSS copy

protected DVD to iPod and convert WMV, AVI, MOV, FLV, DivX, XviD video to iPod touch/

Nano/ Classic with high quality.

Here is the official download site: http://www.daniusoft.com/dvd-to-ipod-suite.html;

And the official step-by-step guide about how to put dvd video TV show to iPod:

http://www.daniusoft.com/tutorial/ipod-guide.html.

You just need to Install and run it, click ‘Load DVD’ to import DVD or click ‘Load file’ to add

video file (or TV shows). If you don’t want to convert the whole DVD, you can click ‘trim’ to

cut segment you like. DVD regular have many chapters, if you want to join them into one

file, you can pitch on ‘Merge into one file’, and your iPod can display only one image of

whole movie as in music.

But don’t forget that it’s legal convert DVD to iPod for personally not any commercial

purposes.

Part three: Where to download free movie for iPod.

There are some free movie websites for movie fans to download movie for iPod and other

players.

ShowStash(http://www.showstash.com/): Lots of popular TV shows, cartoons, etc.

Mefeedia(http://www.mefeedia.com/): “Find thousands of video blogs (video podcasts), and

watch them on your computer, video iPod or PSP.”

The Internet Movie Database (http://www.imdb.com/): Movie reviews, information about

upcoming movie premieres, movie clips, and more.

Free Public Domain Movies and Documentaries (http://www.jonhs.net/freemovies/): Free

movies and more, all available for free download.

iFilm(http://www.ifilm.com/): One of my favorite places on the Web for great videos, trailers,

etc.

Here is a listing of free movie download webistes http://www.daniusoft.com/tutorial/free-

movies-download.html.

Most of downloaded movies are AVI file, you can use Videora or Daniusoft DVD to iPod

Suite to convert AVI video to iPod video.

Part four: Play iPod on TV without Apple TV.

This part is about how to play iPod on TV without Apple TV. As you know, Apple TV is a

connector which allows you to stream media files from your computer and view iPod video on

TV. You can also store the media files on the unit’s hard drive, but the current price of the

unit is $300 more or less. So, the article helps you play iPod on TV so you can watch iPod

video on TV for free. And you also can watch the video here to know more Why Apple TV is

pointless if you’ve got an iPod.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXd66cNZYD4.

It just includes three steps:

Step 1.take a composite video cable. As picture follow:

Step 2, simply plug one end of the cable into the headphones port on iPod and the other end

into TV. There is a little problem to plug the composite video into TV because you can’t plug

it in like you normally do.

Here is the diagram helps explain what cables go where in TV.

In fact, the plugs on TV will be in this order: Red, White, yellow. Plug the cables in this

order: yellow, White, Red. Now you’ve got the cable set up.

Step 3 , set iPod on TV up. Don’t worry, it doesn’t hack the iPod and everything goes safe.

From the main screen of your iPod, go to ‘Video’ -> ‘Video Settings’. Scroll to TV Out and make it ‘Ask’ instead of ‘Off’.

Then, 1) Scroll down to TV Signal and make sure its NTSC if you live in North America/Japan or PAL if you live anywhere else.

2) So after you’ve set iPod on TV up, back out to Video menu and go pick an iPod video to

watch. I chose an episode of Family guy protect Lois Hi.

3) Before the video starts, select ‘TV On’ , turn on TV and go to wherever you go when you

use your video games, VCR, etc.

iPod video downloads are one of the most popular media files people download next to music downloads. iPods used to be very basic in function and can only play music. With the improvements in iPod technology, we are able to view movies and videos on our new iPods. The generous disk space on our new generation iPods allows us to store up to 50 movies, each about 2 hours long. It is so convenient to watch a good video on iPod without carrying bulky DVDs or players. Here are some quick tips for iPod users who intend to download iPod videos.

There are many places where you can find iPod video downloads. The most established is iTunes and it is definitely not a stranger to you. iTunes now have more than 200 TV shows and you can download each episode of your favorite video at $1.99.

Peer-to-peer P2P file sharing networks are alternative places where you can download free iPod video and movies. Basically, you will need a P2P client application to search for iPod video downloads at the various networks. Some software are free and can be easily downloaded at online freeware resources or through the search engines. Two popular freeware used by many users to download iPod video downloads are MP3 Rocket and Fast Torrent. On top of that, they can be used to download games, music MP3s, etc.

There are some individual websites that offer iPod video downloads for private viewing. Most of them are amateurs who are experimenting with video filming and there have been some interesting finds reported at these websites. In fact, from time to time, you may have received them via email from your friends.

You may have gotten your iPod video downloads from sources other than iTunes, and P2P networks such as home made videos. But when you try to play them on your iPod, you realize that you cannot. Do not panic. The likelihood is that your video file format is not compatible with your iPod. iPod can only read MPEG4 and H.264 video files so this means that you need to convert the files first.

While there are many paid versions, you would be pleasantly surprised to find freeware that are just as powerful in converting video files to iPod compatible format. Free iPod Video Converter V1.32 and Utralshareware do a pretty neat job in converting popular video formats so that you can enjoy DVD/VCD and AVI, MPEG, WMV, RM, DivX, ASF and VOB video files using your iPod.

Visit my blog to find out more about iPod video downloads and where you may access to endless new DVD quality iPod video downloads.

Ipod Stuff: Troubleshoot your Ipod

Sunday
Feb 1,2009
ipod
A lot of people are encountering various problems with their iPod devices. iPod restore issues, blue, black or white screens, erase, connect and transfer problems, iPod won’t turn off (!), iPod falls into water, videos are not showing properly, audio is corrupted during playback and a lot more. The thing is that many of these issues can be resolved by following a basic troubleshooting routine every time you face a minor or major problem with your iPod.

- First of all, you got to make sure your iPod is turned on! A lot of people get so enthusiastic with their iPods forgetting the fact that the iPod is still an electronic device that uses batteries. And batteries must be fully charged. No batteries, no electricity, no iPod. So make sure your batteries are properly and fully charged before turning on your iPod.

- Restore your iPod. You will find all the information you need to restore your iPod at the apple website. Always restore your iPod using the latest updated software. Keep in mind that restoring your iPod means that you will lose all songs and other files and all settings will be restored to their original value.

- If you can’t connect your iPod with your computer via a USB or FireWire port, try a different port. It may not be your iPod’s fault but the USB’s or FireWire’s port fault instead. Try restarting your computer if the problem persists. A lot of compatibility issues have been reported, especially with the Windows XP operating system. A simple system restart might be the solution to your iPod connection problems.

- Another common mistake is the Hold switch mistake. If you forget the Hold switch in the locked position your iPod screen will show a lock image telling you that you have to turn the Hold switch off before turning on your iPod. A lot of new iPod users tend to forget the Hold switch on, thus believing that there’s something wrong with their iPod when they try to turn on the device.

- Try resetting your iPod. This usually solves a lot of issues. To reset your iPod connect it to the iPod AC Adapter and plug the adapter into an electrical outlet. Alternatively, connect your iPod to your computer’s built in FireWire port. Turn on the Hold switch and turn it off again. Finally press the Play/Pause button and hold it until the iPod logo appears.

- Keep updating your iPod’s firmware. Firmwares keep updating all the time. Be sure you always have the latest firmware for your iPod. You can download the latest firmware for free at the apple website. Also try to reinstall your iTunes software. Always have the latest iTunes version installed. You can download the latest iTunes version for free at the apple website.

It’s not always the iPod’s fault if something goes wrong. Use common thinking troubleshooting techniques before throwing your iPod in the garbage.

The History of DVD to Ipod Converter
